Also the director did a great job in capturing the feelings of the girls from Texas and going to an environment unlike their own. The scenes were absolutely wonderful especially the scenery of beautiful Monte Carlo and Paris were truly captured.I would recommend this movie to other girls especially because it is more of a chick flick for tweens. People who are a fan of Selena will really see her shine in this movie. Sadly this movie really reminded me of the Lizze McGuire movie shot a few years ago with Hilary Duff. Almost the same situation but instead of being mistaken for a British Heiress Lizze McGuire (Hilary Duff) was mistaken to be a music star. The story line though had a lot of similarities both Selena and Hilary’s character seem to be the exact same. But for people who haven’t watched the Lizze McGuire movie will take this as an enjoyable movie. There was no scenes where smoking was involved which is not much of a shocker due to the fact many characters in the movie are just graduating high school it would not have made sense for them to be smoking . A great movie all around!
