The DUFF

TheDUFF

On February 20th, 7 YATI volunteers ventured into the heart of downtown Toronto to create this insightful smoke-free movie review of The DUFF. DUFF stands for Designated Ugly Fat Friend, which at first glance, seems like a terrible idea for a movie. Fortunately, the movie has a positive message as it encourages high school students to be proud of who they are. The best thing about this movie is that they didn’t need to use tobacco products to build the story or the characters. The positive message to BE YOURSELF was loud and clear WITHOUT TOBACCO imagery.
